POSITION: CARDIOLOGIST

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BASIC SALARY: FJD 80,000 to 110, 000

FREE TRANSPORTATION

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3 years formal training in internal medicine.
• 3 years of training or research in cardiovascular diseases in a duly accredited institution.
• Certified Diplomate by the Specialty Board of the Philippine College of physicians and the Philippine College of Cardiology.
• At least 5 years active practice of cardiology.
• Member of Philippine Heart Association

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Discuss symptoms and Treatments with Patients.
• Document Patient Data.
• Carry out Test.
• Perform Medical Imaging studies.
• Administrative and Management Duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Clinical Method (history taking, examination and differential diagnosis) and diagnostic testing.
• Assessment of unselected  acutely ill patients, arriving on the ward, including acute management counseling of all potential medical problems, patient counselling, therapeutics and appropriate liason with allied health professionals including specialist nurses.
• Communication skills.
• Medico-legal issues.
• Understanding clinical governance and the role of audit.
• Role of cardiac imaging (echo and cardiac CT) exercise  testing and Holter monitoring.
