WATER INJECTION EXPERT

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BASIC SALARY : USD 5000-USD 6000

QUALIFICATIONS – Minimum degree in any engineering field

Experience:  15 (fifteen) years of experience in the upstream oil in gas industry, including minimum 10 (ten) years in water injection operations. The candidate must be proven to possess expertise in the specific area of managing and optimizing the quality of water to be injected into the reservoir .

Have the necessary skills (specific experience) include but not limited to :

• Able to supervise , monitor, analyse , fine tune and troubleshoot operation of WI facilities and recommend best practices for the complete water injection , including optimizing treatment chemicals (i.e.02-scavenger ,anti foam scale and corrosion inhibitors, etc. filtration system , de aeration system , and all other system  parameter with the objectives of ensuring that the WI system can perform at an optimum level in terms of water quality , up time and cost.
• Familiar with recent developments in injection water quality management and knowledgeable on risk associated with poor  injection water quality, i.e reservoir souring, plugging, scaling, etc.
• Possesses valid offshore training and certification, and is fit to perform site visits to WI facilities located offshore Malaysia .
• Experienced in producing technical reports, presentations, and guidelines to be used as company reference and /or adopted as company standards.
