Qualifications & Experience

• A recognized Bricklaying or Stonemasonry Trade Certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Bricklayer and/or Stonemason.
• The ability to provide all required documents to meet Australian migration eligibility
  criteria.
• Experience with both residential and commercial projects, as well as heritage restoration
  work, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bricklayer Stonemason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls,
partitions, arches, and other structures from bricks, blocks, and stone. Your day-to-day tasks will
include:

• Interpreting drawings and specifications to determine materials and layout.
• Measuring and marking out the work area.
• Laying bricks, pre-cut stone, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and
  repair structures.
• Shaping, trimming, and setting stone for feature walls, facades, and monuments.
• Cutting and shaping materials to fit irregular spaces, using hand and power tools.
• Repairing and maintaining existing brick and stonework.
• Pointing and finishing mortar joints for a clean and durable finish.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
