Job Title: Forest & Certification Manager
Salary: 10,000 – 14,000 RM (154,615 – 216,461)
Qualifications:
- Experience in logging or sawmill operations
- Strong leadership and results-oriented
- Proficient in English and French
- Good reporting and analytical skills
- Positive, team-oriented, and independent worker
- Willing to work in Gabon, Africa
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage FSC/SCS forest management and chain-of-custody certification
- Ensure compliance with FSC standards, regulations, quality, and safety requirements
- Coordinate internal and external forest certification audits
- Lead the department and improve productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, procedures, and checklists
- Conduct employee training and development
- Promote continuous improvement and workplace safety
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for management
