Salary And Benefits:

AUD $73, 500 per year MINIMUM + Superannuation

• 9 hours of guaranteed over time per week
• Candidate can earn up to $45 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications & Demonstrated Skills: 

• Trade qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience working in industry
• Aluminium, Steel and Stainless Steel experience
• Ability to work follow the drawings
• Can work at workshop and construction site
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Accustomed to working on differing projects everyday

Position Description:

• Studying blueprints, drawings and specification to determine job requirements
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting
  torches and metal cutting machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
• Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
• Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
• Operate and maintain the equipment, including but not limited to lathes, mills, drill press, press-breaks, shears, and cutting tables.
• Installation of fabricated metalworks onsite in accordance with the project
  documentation
• Performing quality checks on completed products.  Conforming with state and company safety regulations
• Requirements prior to interview:
  A work video showing above average skills of work must accompany application. – Videos should show the whole body of the person clearly and show the welding skills
  (precision) from start to completion. Other videos show casing skills are also welcomed.

• No interviews will be progressed without a work video PTE (or equivalent) must accompany the application to further interview
